“ Brooklyn Farmacy to Open Soon”

Brooklyn Farmacy is opening May 14th!

The refurbished pharmacy, located in the former Vermont Pharmacy space on the corner of Henry and Sackett (513 Henry), will serve as a neighborhood general store with fresh, local, and organic farmed goods, household products (like cakes of handmade soap), and an old fashioned soda fountain. 

Walk in and prepare to be transported back to a time when soda jerks and pharmacists shared the same space. The “pharmacy,” which will serve egg creams, is decorated with vintage wooden shelves, glass medicine cabinets, a robin's egg blue refrigerator, tiled floors, and meticulously restored shelves stocked with brown medicine bottles of drugs dating back to the 1800s. While you'll want to refrain from popping pills, the place is truly beautiful. The look is spot on, and it's thanks to a little help from the Discover Channel's Construction Intervention.
