“Porchetta's New Sandwich”

If you’re a fan of Sara Jenkins (and really, if you’re not, you may need culinary therapy), you’ll want to head over to Porchetta to try her newest sandwich: a Lebanese pressed garlic chicken sandwich, served with traditional Lebanese garlic sauce ("toum") and spicy pickles, tucked between fresh pressed bread. According to Jenkins the sandwich is an ode to memories of her time in the town of Zahle, which she visited when she was young “on driving trips along the road from Beirut to Damascus, during a time when one could actually drive along that road.”
