“The Strong Buzz and lots, lots more at the 2008 Starchef's International Chef's Congress”

If you’re in the restaurant industry and you've never been to StarChef's International Chef’s Congress, you won’t want to miss it this year. The Congress is a three-day culinary symposium (Sept 14-16th) where 60 of the world’s most influential and innovative chefs, pastry chefs, mixologists, and sommeliers present the latest techniques and culinary concepts to their peers.

This year, in addition to attending a session on the world of the chef blog hosted by yours truly, with chef panelists Alex Talbot and Aki Kamozawa (of the industry favorite, Ideas in Food), Le Bernardin’s Michael Laiskonis, and Jardiniere’s Traci Des Jardins on Tuesday morning, you can spend three days immersed in chef demonstrations, hands-on chef, pastry and mixology workshops, career counseling sessions, wine seminars, business seminars, and expert panels on current industry topics. Note that admission to the International Chefs Congress is limited to chefs, pastry chefs, mixologists and sommeliers currently employed in a restaurant and those working as/for food and equipment manufacturers, consultants, purveyors, publicists, architects, manufacturer representatives and dealers.
