“M Dining”
If the financial nose dive we're in has cramped your dining style, Megu is offering a solution that will bring back the good old days (and nights) of endless sushi and saketinis with M Dining and Megu theme nights.
In the swanky upstairs lounge of this fine dining Japanese restaurant in TriBeCa, M Dining will launch with a $25 and under menu. You can grab a table-for-two, join the communal table or lounge at the bar and order up: yellowtail carpaccio ($19), spicy-baked unagi ($9) or romaine lettuce with Kobe and blue cheese salad ($15) are among the selections. There’s also Megu’s classic Kobe beef burger served with crispy Parmesan fries with truffle oil and a salad ($22) normally served at lunch only.
The downtown and Midtown locations have also started weekly theme nights revolving around sake, wine and Kobe beef. You can take advantage of discounts up to 50% off bottles of sake, wine or juicy 10-ounce slabs of Kobe depending on the week.
Megu has two locations. The original is located in TriBeCa at 62 Thomas St. and the Midtown restaurant is at 845 U.N. Plaza, www.megunyc.com.
